Dad T-Shirts

I Love to Score T-Shirt

My 7 year old gave me the idea for this t-shirt design. While talking about how much he liked playing soccer, he came right out and said the most important thing about playing any game: “I love to score.”

Yes, son, everyone loves to score. So I designed a t-shirt to let everyone know that’s what is on your mind.

And by simply removing the scoreboard from the design, it’s a double entendre for dads, (and non-dads), to wear…

I’m Not a Zombie T-Shirt

Every parent knows the zombie-like feeling of a day with little to no sleep the night before. Maybe you were up every two hours over night to feed the baby. Maybe you spent all night in the Emergency Room with your sick child. Or maybe you’re just frazzled from keeping the kids entertained all day during summer vacation or school track out.

Heck, you don’t even have to be a parent to occasionally be worn slap out. Been studying for mid-term exams? Been working 12-hour shifts all week? Been out on a drunken bender over the weekend?

For all these times, I present:

I’m Awesome

My Sons Think I'm Awesome

Yeah, this is a partial repost from November 2010. My oldest is now 11 years old, (as of Jan 4), so technically this gag is inaccurate, but it seems that so far, they both still think I’m pretty awesome. Or, at least, they think all my toys are pretty awesome. We tried letting the boys do their homework in my office, at the game table, but they say there are too many distractions in the room.

This “motivational poster” was the inspiration for this t-shirt design:

Dad Keeping Childhood Fun and Dangerous T-Shirt

Yeah, dads have a tendency to push the envelope of fun. Moms nurture and promote caution. Dads entertain and promote excitement. Entertainment often has an element of risk and danger. Nobody ever paid or tuned in to watch Evel Knievel just ride his motorcycle around the arena.

Maybe it’s pushing the child really, really high on the swing. Maybe it’s building the bicycle ramp. Dad’s are fun enablers. The best fun, though, can sometimes be unwise.

The loudest shouts of laughter and glee are sometimes immediately followed by shouts of accident and tears. But as soon as the tears dry, there come the shouts of, “Again!”
