June in November

It reached 80 degrees yesterday. Dammit, it’s November! I just got into the habit of wearing long-sleeve shirts every day. I pushed all my short-sleeve shirts to the back of the closet.

I had to turn on the heater and defroster in my car in the morning on my drive to work, and then on my drive home I had to turn on the air conditioner. Global warming? No just another day in the South.

After all these years, fluctuations of 30 and 40 degrees in one day shouldn’t surprise me. But I think it’s finally starting to wear on my nerves. I’m just not able to adapt as quickly as I used to. I’m gettin’ too friggin’ old for this crap.

you have to look at it like this, it’s already freezing up north, prolly snow on the ground and is going to be like that till march…so we have some temperature fluctuations, it’s better than getting cold and staying there untill a month after all the other states have had spring for a month….
