Cute and Perfect

Categories: LifeI was telling Cowgrit how my blog needs more humor; my posts need to be more entertaining. A few minutes later, she and I had what I thought was a hilarious conversation.
“See,” I said, “this would make a great blog post.”
“I don’t know,” she said, hesitant to let me post about a private conversation.
“Really. That was great. It was cute and entertaining,” I argued. “Perfect.”
“Well,” she smiled, “I’m cute and perfect, so anything you write about me has to be cute and perfect.”
It was a few moments later that I realized, she wasn’t so much describing herself as she was telling me how I’m allowed to write about her. See, she’s cute and perfect.

have you not figured out that cowgrit is smarter than you yet? she has a way of bringing her thoughts and ideas out so you think you thought of it, but really she is just getting what she wants….pretty sly and cunning that one…
Its a female thing…younger ones learn it by watching those more skilled at it…and then they further develop their skills. Its just a matter of learning to get past the emotional reaction stage in life and realizing you can use almost any situation to your advantage. Be thankful you didn’t have daughters…as a father that’s even more fun when they play you for what they want…
Definitely fun being a woman sometimes…
